Marche, a land of culture and great flavours: The territory
The strong bond to the history and traditions of this region can be also felt in the local cuisine.
It’s here that typical products like the ciauscolo (a variety of salame), the famous formaggio di fossa (local sheep cheese) and the casciotta d’Urbino(a type of Caciotta cheese) were born.
Not to forget are the olive trees and white and black truffles, that find in this land the perfect conditions for their growth.
Here, like in other regions of Italy, the wine has always had an important role in the local cuisine as it has always been paired with many local traditional dishes. Still nowadays indigenous grape varieties like Verdicchio, Vernaccia di Serrapetrona and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba can be found here.
The great hospitality you’ll find in the wine cellar and in the farm holiday together with the offered delicious wines make a holiday here a unique and worthy experience.
