Sicily: The territory

From Mount Etna to Marsala you’ll find a wide range of proposals allowing you to discover the history, the archeological sites, the beautiful nature and all the traditions of this wonderful  region: you can choose among an excursion on the slopes of a volcano, a visit to the romantic salt mines and salt works, a stroll in the orderly vineyards or along the jagged coastline.

This will be an unforgettable experience!

While driving along  the wine routes you’ll also find a lot of useful information and precious suggestions  about wine and food itineraries as well as  wine tastings in tourist-welcoming wine cellars.

Just take it easy, enjoy your trip and take delight in savouring the well-known tasty Sicilian street food: during your holiday you will have the chance to try many typical products such as the famous Arancini di riso (stuffed rice balls coated with breadcrumbs and fried), the typical Scacce (focaccia bread), the local Pane con la milza (bread with veal spleen fried in lard) and croquettes made from French fries.

And if you like intense experiences don’t miss the fish market in Catania or the famous markets Capo Vecchio, Ballarò and Vucciria located in Palermo, which look very similar to Middle East markets.
